Brandon-Shea Mutala

Brandon-Shea Mutala is the Regina Board of Education Trustee for Subdivision 6.

Brandon-Shea Mutala was born in Saskatoon and attended school there until Grade 5. His family moved north to Pinehouse Lake for one year and then to La Ronge until halfway through his Grade 11 year, when they moved to Regina. He graduated from Martin Collegiate in 1998. Throughout high school, he was involved in several drama productions and won the Mary Ellen Burgess Award for Best Actor at the 1997 provincial drama festival.

Brandon-Shea has enjoyed volunteering in the community for many years by fundraising, serving warm meals to those in need, and running a radio show on community radio stations, including CJTR.

Brandon-Shea works at EVRAZ, where he serves as a shop steward. Over the past two years, he has been politically advocating on behalf of his union at both the provincial and federal levels of government.

He has 3 daughters who attend Regina Public schools. Brandon-Shea decided to run for school board trustee in the summer of 2024 because of his desire to advocate for more funding, smaller class sizes, and additional supports for all students. He is very excited to be a member of the board and is looking forward to advocating on behalf of Regina youth.
