Cold Weather Ahead!

February 12, 2025 -- School families with students that are transported:

Firstly, thank you for your patience and efforts during this cold spell that has meant transportation cancellations.

Secondly. Thank you for your understanding. Regina Public Schools is currently experiencing issues with its phone messaging system. While you have typically received calls for transportation cancellations, lately you have not. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Every morning we are up before 6 a.m. getting the message out by email, by news media, by social media and at www.rbe.sk.ca.

We are grateful to Rawlco, Harvard, CTV, CBC, Global and Leader-Post, all of whom have helped get important information to parents, guardians, transportation partners, employees and entire school families.

Thursday and Friday (February 13-14) will be cold. See the Environment and Climate Change Canada forecast below.

Please take the time, in the morning to have a look at your emails, listen to local radio and/or tv, or go to the website for notifications.

We appreciate this is an extra effort and know it is a change from routine and an inconvenience.

Next week is the February break. We are all looking forward to a break from cancellations and hopefully a break in the cold weather.
Stay warm. Stay safe. Keep well!
