Transportation Information for all families

August 31, 2021 -- Today, some Regina Public Schools families may have received an email regarding student transportation. This communication was sent by Regina Catholic Schools in error.

For your information, Regina Public Schools shares some contact information with Regina Catholic Schools because both school divisions share several joint transportation routes.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience these erroneous communications may have caused your family. We are working to correct the issue to ensure that it does not happen again.

If your child is transported, you will have already received information about Regina Public Schools transportation that was sent out earlier in August.

UPDATE September 3, 2021: Effective Tuesday, September 7, 2021, Regina Public Schools will be requiring mask use in all its schools, high schools and division buildings. 

Clean Air in Schools

AUGUST 19, 2021 – In January, Regina Public Schools announced that it had enhanced the ventilation systems in all its schools and buildings. In addition to cleaning protocols that were also put in place, the school division is working to minimize health and safety risks to students and staff.

Looking forward to the 2021-22 school year, the enhanced ventilation systems and increased airflow in schools and all buildings are a key component to the safe return to school.

The air filtration systems use a technology called “bipolar ionization.” This filtration:

eSchool Students Recite Treaty 4 Affirmation

June 28, 2021 – After learning about Treaty 4, Regina Public Schools eSchool Grade 1 students were invited to make a video of themselves reciting the Treaty 4 affirmation in English, Cree, or other language used at home. These Grade 1 learners were invited to have these affirmations in a place that is special to them or to what they have been learning about Turtle Island and First Nations culture this school year.
