Community Values Award

NOVEMBER 22, 2019 -- Last year, the Creating Successful Outcomes Recognition Program was launched and a number of volunteers, past and present were honoured at a board meeting of the Regina Board of Education. This year, the Board has renamed the volunteer recognition program to better reflect its purpose and to align with Regina Public Schools Shared Values. The program has been renamed The Community Values Award.

The Community Values Award continues to be intended to provide recognition to school division volunteers who have, over the years, dedicated time, energy and personal resources to help create successful outcomes for Regina Public Schools students.

Shared Values Recognition Program Launched

NOVEMBER 22, 2019 -- Regina Public Schools employees and those who work at our schools make the difference in the lives and the futures of all of our students. A smile from a child, a “Thank you” from a parent or a “Great job!” from an employer is proof of how we are contributing to the Regina community.

A true indicator of merit, however, is peer and community recognition. Twelve years ago, the Regina Board of Education introduced the Shared Values Recognition Program. Since that time, many exceptional staff members who have most exemplified the Shared Values were recognized and honoured.

Pride in Action Event

NOVEMBER 19, 2019 -- Pride in Action...Stand Up will gather together elementary Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) students and allies from across Regina Public Schools as a show of support and unity for all those who may be struggling to feel confident and proud of themselves and the work they do as leaders in our school communities.
